River Cruise

DETAILS

Most river ships accommodate between 140-200 guests.

The smaller-sized ships and low number of guests on board, together with an open-seating dining, means you’ll generally get a chance to know more of your fellow guests.

River cruises travel along many of the main rivers in the world. In Europe, The Danube, Main, Rhine, Moselle, Elbe, Rhone, Saone and Seine are all popular rivers for river cruising.

You’ll always have a view of land since river cruises do not enter open waters, and with a new port of call every day comes more breath-taking scenery!

With the advantage of docking right in the heart of some of the world’s greatest cities and towns. This means you can literally walk straight off the vessel into a town or a picturesque village.

The vessel will not be sailing into open oceans and so there are certainly no large waves to worry about! If that isn’t reassuring enough, the vessels are designed with flat-bottoms, ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey along the river!

Most river cruise ships have:

  • 3 cabin decks
  • A main restaurant
  • Another dining room for the chef’s table or light meals
  • A bar and lounge with a stage for live music, including a small dancing floor
  • Library and relaxing areas
  • Small fitness and Spa area
  • A sun deck and more

With a low number of guests onboard and a 1 to 3 staff per guest ratio, the service feels more personal than you’ve ever experienced while keeping the highest standard!

Luxurious Accommodations with breathtaking views are a huge part of the river cruise experience.

We strongly believe that great food is one of life’s greatest pleasures...Dining onboard is the perfect way to enjoy a variety of local cuisine – every day!

Whether you prefer a fresh glass of juice and chilled prosecco served during breakfast or a glass of fine regional wine to suit your dish during lunch and dinner - all are included!

Our handpicked tour package brings you to the “must see” sites along the routes with the perfect combination between a touristic attraction and local experience and tastes.

Drinking package, free WI-FI onboard, excursion package and onboard entertainment with a live band and local musician.

Whether you choose to travel in the high-season or the off-season, you’ll be able to gain a deep cultural experience in each of your destinations.

If you can climb a flight of 12-15 steps (even with some assistance and a brief rest at the top) you will manage just fine on a river cruise. If you’re not able to climb stairs, even with assistance, then we would recommend a different kind of cruise, that is more adaptable for your needs. Due to some ports that are visited, stairs are required to embark/disembark your river cruise.
