This unforgettable journey through Israel and the Holy Land begins in the vibrant city of Tel Aviv, where your adventure officially starts. After settling in, the tour continues along the stunning Mediterranean coast, offering a blend of modern life and ancient wonders. First, you’ll visit Caesarea Maritima, a remarkable Roman port city where the Apostle Paul once stood trial. Next, travel to the ancient site of Megiddo, long associated with the prophesied battle of Armageddon. Then, ascend Mount Carmel, where the prophet Elijah boldly challenged the prophets of Baal.
From there, the journey moves inland to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus. Shortly after, stop in Cana, where Jesus performed His first recorded miracle at a wedding feast. As the tour continues, you’ll enter the peaceful Galilee region, a key area in Jesus’ ministry. Here, visit Tabgha, the traditional site of the feeding of the 5,000. Then, pause at the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. After that, explore Capernaum, referred to as “Jesus’ own city.” To conclude your time in Galilee, enjoy a serene boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, a perfect setting for reflection and prayer. In addition, guests have the special opportunity to take part in baptisms in the Jordan River, a meaningful moment for many believers.
Following your time in Galilee, travel north to the scenic Golan Heights, filled with both beauty and biblical history. Along the way, stop at Caesarea Philippi, where Peter confessed Jesus as the Messiah. Then continue to Tel Dan, known for its ancient ruins and lush setting. Afterward, explore the impressive Roman city of Beit Shean, with its well-preserved amphitheater, streets, and temples.
Next, your journey turns southward through the Judean wilderness. Along the way, visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Then, enjoy a scenic hike at Ein Gedi, the oasis where David once hid from Saul. Soon after, ascend the mighty fortress of Masada, where Jewish rebels made their last stand against Rome. As the day ends, relax and float in the healing waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth.
Soon, it’s time to ascend to Jerusalem, a city sacred to three major religions. Begin your time there on the Mount of Olives, which offers breathtaking views of the Old City. Next, walk through the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed the night of His arrest. Then visit the Western Wall, a deeply significant place of prayer. Continue on to the Temple Mount, where the ancient Jewish Temple once stood. After that, follow the Via Dolorosa, retracing the steps Jesus walked on His way to the cross. Eventually, arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believed by many to be the site of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. Additionally, make your way to Bethlehem, where you’ll visit the Church of the Nativity, marking the birthplace of Christ.
But there’s more to explore. Visit the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Then walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel, a remarkable engineering feat from biblical times. Reflect at the peaceful Garden Tomb, considered by some to be the site of Jesus’ resurrection. Travel next to the Elah Valley, where David famously defeated Goliath. Finally, conclude your journey with a visit to Jaffa, one of the world’s oldest port cities, filled with biblical significance and stunning coastal views.
To end this powerful tour, enjoy a heartfelt farewell dinner with your fellow travelers. Share stories, exchange photos, and celebrate the spiritual insights you’ve gained. As you return home, you’ll carry lasting memories, renewed faith, and a deeper connection to the land of the Bible.
Level 1: Easy
This trip is comparable to a sightseeing bus tour. Most of the travel will be from the comforts of our air-conditioned motor coaches. There may be limited walking, sometimes even across uneven surfaces. Nearly all sites will be wheelchair accessible.
Level 2: Relaxed
This trip consists of light walking, potentially 1-3 miles per day at most. Most of your time will be spent on the bus, at museums or other sites with frequent stops, or places with similar accommodations. Occasionally there will be uneven paths, however most sites will be wheelchair accessible.
Level 3: Moderately Active (Most Common)
This trip is our most popular and standardized for our most common programs. On average you’ll be walking 3-5 miles per day, with a handful of sites having uneven pathways. Some sites may be wheelchair accessible, however some will not. Some sites may be inaccessible due to stairs or rugged terrain. There will be frequent stops throughout the day to rest and catch your breath.
Level 4: Very Active
This trip is a bit more energetic, featuring the occasional hike or even potentially a dig site. You’ll be walking anywhere between 4-7 miles per day, many sites will have uneven or unpaved walkways. Several sites will be wheelchair accessible, and have wheelchair specific areas, however many sites do contain stairs or other similar obstacles. Travelers are welcome to sit on the bus or meet with the group at the end of certain sites if they do not wish to participate.
Level 5: Energetic
This is our most energetic program! We’ve specifically aimed these programs at students and young adults, as they may consist of 6-10 miles of walking per day, along with hikes and other adventurous obstacles. This tour is more strenuous than most tour programs. While some sites may offer accommodations for wheelchairs or walkers, travelers may want to opt out from certain sites due to uneven terrain and unpaved pathways. Some programs also include early dusk or dawn hikes or walks, which could be difficult for some with impaired vision in darker settings.
