We meet in Los Angeles for our flight to Israel. After dinner is served, sit back, and relax, enjoying the onboard entertainment as you prepare for this exciting adventure of a lifetime, walking where Jesus walked.

In Tel Aviv, we are met by our agent who assists us through customs and security. We transfer to our motor coach for a short drive to our hotel along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Netanya in time for dinner and overnight.

Today we depart for the Galilee, visiting the following Biblical sites: Caesarea where Peter proclaimed the Good News to the Roman Centurion (Acts 10), Megiddo, and Mt. Carmel where Elijah prayed, and God defeated 450 prophets of Baal with fire from heaven (1 Kings 18). Time permitting, we’ll stop at the Druze Village for a short lunch break (not included). We continue to Mount Precipice (Luke 1 & 2) for an incredible view and time of teaching. If time permits, we will have a short drive to Nazareth and Cana (John 2). We arrive in Tiberias for dinner and overnight on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

There is nothing like watching a sunrise on the Sea of Galilee from our hotel. We begin our sightseeing at the Mt. of Beatitudes (Matthew 5-7), with time for reflection and worship. We then board a replica wooden “Jesus Boat” for our boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and visit Capernaum (Jesus’ base for His early ministry). Our lunch stop features the option of the special St. Peter’s Fish for those interested (not included). We then visit the new Magdala archaeological site, which is rich in cultural history for both Jews and Christians. We travel north for the Golan Heights and view the area from a special lookout. We drive to Caesarea Philippi, where we will celebrate Sunday worship together. Caesarea Philippi is where Peter made the good confession of Christ as “the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:13-16). Dinner and overnight are in Tiberias.

This morning is at leisure to explore and shop on your own or choose to enjoy the Hot Springs (not included). In the afternoon, we’ll meet at our hotel for a time of teaching. Afterwards we make our way to the Jordan River for the opportunity to step into that special river for an optional baptism. Dinner and overnight are back at our hotel in Tiberias.

After an early breakfast, we embark on a short hike to Tel Dan to see the altar of Jeroboam. From here we drive for our visit to Beit Shean, one of the best-preserved Decapolis Roman cities, where we will have a time of singing in the amphitheater. This city is where King Saul and his sons’ bodies were hung from the city walls after being defeated by the Philistines (1 Samuel 31:10-12). Then we will have a stop in Jericho to see the monastery and Tel. Finally, we ascend to the majestic city of Jerusalem. “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’ Our feet are standing within your gates, O Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:1- 2 NASB). Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

After breakfast, we visit the Shrine of the Book Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. We also see the fascinating 1:50 scale model of Jerusalem as it would have appeared in Jesus’ time. Then we have a visit to Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust memorial and museum. We then have a short drive for our visit to Bethlehem. Here we enjoy our lunch at the Tent Restaurant (not included). We will pass by Rachel’s tomb on the outskirts and visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherd’s Field. Then we will make our way back to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

We have an early morning breakfast, and conditions permitting, we will visit the Temple Mount. Entering Jerusalem through the Zion Gate, we walk to the holiest site in the whole Jewish world, the Western (Wailing) Wall of Herod’s temple. Beyond the wall lies the 35-acre temple area purchased by King David (2 Samuel. 24:18-25). On this site now stands Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the magnificent Dome of the Rock (the third holiest shrine in Islam). Then we continue to the beautiful Mt. of Olives to behold the breathtaking panorama of the Holy City. Our pilgrimage proceeds down the Old Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive grove, and the Church of Agony, where tradition holds that Jesus prayed. We make our way to St. Stephen’s Gate, to walk the Via Dolorosa – including St. Anne’s Crusader Church, Pools of Bethesda, the Pavement (where Jesus stood while being tried by Pilate), Ecce Homo Arch, and the ancient Cardo. We continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. A short walk takes us to stand on the original steps that Jesus walked on as He entered the Temple area. We return to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. After dinner, we return to the Western Wall to visit the Rabbis’ Tunnel.

After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing with a drive to the Wilderness. The road from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea region is a decent of 4,000 feet in 13 miles. Our first stop is at Masada, where we ascend via cable car to the fortress built by King Herod. Here we survey the ruins of fortifications, waterworks, synagogue, temples, and palaces. From here, we drive to Ein Gedi where David hid from King Saul. A short drive takes us to Qumran, the settlement of the first century sect known as the Essenes, authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Those that would like to have an optional swim in the Dead Sea, can choose to do so. On our way back to Jerusalem, we will drive by and view Herodium, Herod’s palace-fortress. We return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

We begin our morning with our first visit to the incredible archaeological find: City of David. Afterwards we have a short walk to Hezekiah’s Tunnel (conditions permitting). Be sure to bring a flashlight and good water shoes with you, as you will get wet walking through the tunnel. If time permits, we will have a short visit to see the Pool of Siloam. Afterwards we make our way to the Church of Agony at St. Peter Gallicantu. Then we visit Golgotha and the Garden Tomb for worship and communion. We bid farewell to our tour members that are returning home, as they transfer to the Ben Gurion airport.

We arrive back in the U.S.A. at the close of an unforgettable tour, with a greater understanding of the Old & New Testament, and a renewal of our faith.

Early this morning, we transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our 2.5-hour flight to Rome. Upon arrival, we are met and transferred to our private motor coach. Our sightseeing includes the glory and grandeur of the Eternal City. We see the Seven Hills, the Roman Forum, Arch of Titus, and Arch of Constantine. Then we visit the Colosseum for an explanation of its history. We stop at the Trevi Fountain to throw in a coin and ensure our “Arrivederci Roma”. We continue to the Church of St. Peter in Chains to see the famous Moses by Michelangelo and the original chains in which St. Peter was brought captive to Rome. We arrive at our hotel in Rome for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we continue our sightseeing to the mysterious Vatican City. We see the Sacred Museum, the Vatican Library, and the incredible Sistine Chapel, built to the precise dimensions of the original Temple of Solomon as described in the Bible with its famous Fresco of “Genesis” by Michelangelo. In the afternoon we drive past Tiberina Island, the Jewish synagogue, Aventine Hill, and the Pyramid of Caius Cestus near St. Paul’s gate. We also see the Basilica of St. Paul and the Catacombs, the largest tunnels where the early Christians, persecuted by the Romans, had to practice their religious rites, and bury their dead. We return to our hotel via the Old Appian Way. Dinner and overnight are in Rome.

In the morning, we transfer to the Rome airport for our flight home arriving the same day. The close of an unforgettable tour, to have walked in the footsteps of the Master and the early Christians.
