Tour members meet for our night flight to Israel. After dinner is served, sit back and relax, enjoying the on-board entertainment as you prepare for this exciting adventure of a lifetime, walking where Jesus walked.

In Tel Aviv, we are met by our agent who assists us through customs and security. We transfer to our motor coach for a drive to our hotel in Tiberias in time for our dinner and overnight.

There is nothing like watching a sunrise on the Sea of Galilee from our hotel. After breakfast, we travel to Mt. Arbel for an amazing view of the Galilee region, where Jesus began His ministry. We’ll hear the Sermon on the Mount unlike any time you’ve ever heard it before on the Mt. of Beatitudes. We then spend some time in Capernaum to see 2,000-year-old ruins, where Jesus performed many miracles and where Peter’s mother-in-law lived and was healed. We conclude our day by seeing the “Jesus Boat” and then boarding a replica for a ride you’ll always remember on the Sea of Galilee. Then we return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Today, we begin our sightseeing with a short drive to Cana where Jesus performed His first miracle. You’ll have opportunity to renew your marriage vows here. We travel to Nazareth Village with detailed explanation of what life was like during the time of Jesus. We end the day at the Jordan River Yardenit Baptismal Site, where some may want to be baptized or re-commit themselves to following the Lord. At the end of the day, we ascend to the majestic city of Jerusalem in time for dinner and overnight. “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’ Our feet are standing within your gates, O Jerusalem” Psalm 122:1-2.

We begin the day at the Southern Steps, one of the few places we know with certainty were used by Jesus when He visited the Temple. We enjoy a short video explanation at the Davidson Center, which provides us with an overview of what the Temple area may have looked like during the time of Jesus. We will then visit the Rabbinical Tunnels. There will be time to shop in the Jewish Quarter and then time to pray at the Western Wall, the holiest site in the Jewish world as Sabbath begins. Dinner and overnight are in Jerusalem.

After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing with a drive south through the wilderness. The road from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea region is a descent of 4,000 feet in 13 miles. Our first stop is Masada, where we travel by cable car to the fortress built by King Herod. Here, we survey the ruins of fortifications, waterworks, the synagogue, temples, and palaces. Next, we drive to Ein Gedi where David hid from King Saul. A short drive takes us to Qumran and the settlement of the first century sect known as the Essenes, authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Afterwards, we follow the road south along the western shore of the Dead Sea. We make a special stop at the Dead Sea (the lowest spot on earth) for a short swim. Dinner and overnight are back in Jerusalem.

After breakfast, we make our way to the Temple Mount, the 35-acre Temple area purchased by King David (2 Samuel 24:18-25). On this site now stands Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Dome of the Rock. We continue touring The City of David, and then we go on a short walk to Hezekiah’s Tunnel. Be sure to bring a flashlight and water shoes to walk through the tunnel. Anyone wanting to stay dry can walk through Hezekiah’s Shaft. Then we will visit the newly excavated Pool of Siloam. Afterwards, we drive to Bethlehem with a visit to the Church of the Nativity and the Shepherds’ Field. We return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast, we start our sightseeing at the beautiful Mt. of Olives to behold the breathtaking panorama of the Holy City. Our pilgrimage proceeds down the Old Palm Sunday Road to Dominus Flevit. Then we walk to the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive grove, and the Church of Agony (also called the Church of All Nations) where tradition holds that Jesus prayed. We will have some time to pray together among the olive trees. Afterwards, we enter Jerusalem through the Lion’s Gate. Then we make our way to the Pool of Bethesda, and visit St. Anne’s Church and the Sisters of Zion, where we see the Pavement (where Jesus stood while being tried by Pilate), Ecce Homo Arch, and the ancient Cardo. We continue our walk along the Via Dolorosa with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We close this incredible day with a visit to Golgotha and the Garden Tomb for a memorable time of worship and communion. We then travel to our hotel in Netanya for dinner and overnight.

Today, we depart to visit the Caesarea, where Peter proclaimed the Good News to the Roman Centurion (Acts 10) and where Paul made his defense before Festus and King Agrippa before his final journey to Rome (Acts 25 & 26). We’ll continue to Mt. Carmel where Elijah stood before the prophets of Baal. We conclude with an awesome view of the Valley of Armageddon. Then we return to our hotel in Netanya for a special farewell dinner together and final overnight.

After breakfast, we transfer to the Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport for our return flight home. We arrive back in the U.S.A. same day at the close of an unforgettable tour. We take home wonderful memories of our Spiritual Pilgrimage, a renewal of our faith, and a greater understanding of our Lord.
