Starting in 2024, U.S. citizens traveling to Europe will be required to obtain a visa. The visa will be valid for up to three years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. An ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) application form must be completed ahead of time, and could take between 4-30 days to process, so be sure to do this well in advance of your trip.
