Currently, the IDF has been operating deep within Gaza City, and near Jabalia, the northern region of Gaza. Their forces have been working diligently to attack and condemn Hamas’ command centers, tunnels, and ammunitions (varying rockets and other weapons of destruction). From what we’ve learned, much of Hamas’ infrastructure lies beneath the surface of schools and residential buildings, using innocent lives as human shields. Most recently, the Shin Bet, 551st Brigade Reserve Forces, and the Shayetet 13 commandos raided the Hamas General Security headquarters in Jabalia where they uncovered surveillance and control equipment, maps, and numerous weapons.
IDF forces are currently surrounding the city of Khan Yunis, the southern region of Gaza, here it is heavily thought that the Hamas leadership is hiding.
The IDF has taken extreme measures to avoid civilian casualties in Gaza. At least a third of the accounted Gaza death toll were confirmed terrorists, while many civilians have been lost due to Hamas rocket misfires, in addition to those being used as human shields.
U.S. officials are saying that Hamas is not releasing the remaining hostages because they do not want them to talk about what was, and is being, done to them in captivity and what they have witnessed. We continue to see and hear testimonies from people who directly witnessed these atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th, with hope they will continue to be published for the world to hear and share as a reminder.
