Life in Israel Has Returned to Normal

We have recently received word from our partners in Israel, and we are pleased to share this important update with you.

October 1, 2014

Dear Friends,

Everyday life has returned to normal. The vacation season in Israel is in full swing and currently there are tens of thousands of overseas tourists enjoying the attractions, weather and surroundings throughout Israel.

Groups and individuals arrive daily at the Ben Gurion International Airport which has been operating nonstop. The Israeli Airlines and some 90 foreign carriers have maintained their regular flight schedules to and from Israel.

Tourism sites, museums, holy places, attractions, restaurants, theaters and night spots are open and operating as usual. Outdoor festivals are taking place as are concerts by foreign performers (Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett in September) and Formula 1 in October, bringing the world’s most powerful cars and first class drivers roaring along the streets of the ancient city of Jerusalem. In addition, international conferences and exhibitions are going on in venues throughout the country.

The directors of the Israel Government Tourism Offices will be happy to assist you in reassuring your clients about the safety and viability of all aspects of tourism to Israel. To find the closest office in your area please check the site: http://www.goisrael.com/.

Israelis and Jews everywhere are now celebrating the New Year – 5,775 in the Hebrew calendar. May it be a new year of peace, calm and joy for us all.

Shalom and Welcome to Israel.
