Athens

A center of ancient philosophy, democracy, and culture, Athens is where Paul delivered his famous sermon at the Areopagus (Mars Hill), proclaiming the “unknown God” to philosophers and citizens alike.

Corinth

A bustling commercial and cultural hub of Paul’s time, Corinth was home to a thriving but troubled church to whom Paul wrote two letters, addressing moral challenges and strengthening their faith.

Delphi

Once considered the spiritual center of the ancient Greek world, Delphi housed the Oracle of Apollo. It reflects the religious atmosphere of Paul’s day, against which the message of the Gospel stood distinct.

Meteora

Known for its towering rock formations crowned with monasteries, Meteora became a center of Eastern Orthodox monastic life, symbolizing devotion and retreat from the world.

Thessaloniki

A major city of Macedonia in Paul’s time, Thessaloniki became one of the earliest centers of Christianity. Paul preached here and later wrote his letters to the Thessalonians, encouraging the young church.

Philippi

The first European city where Paul established a Christian community, Philippi is remembered for the conversion of Lydia, Paul and Silas’ imprisonment, and the beginnings of the Gospel in Europe.

Istanbul

Once Constantinople, this city was the heart of the Byzantine Empire and the seat of early Christianity before becoming a crossroads of East and West.

Kusadasi (Ephesus)

The gateway to the ancient city of Ephesus, where Paul spent several years in ministry, writing letters and strengthening the church. Ephesus is also remembered for the Temple of Artemis and the early Christian community addressed in Revelation.

One of the seven churches addressed in Revelation—praised for its faith yet warned against compromise amid a center of pagan worship.

Izmir

Historically known as Ancient Smyrna, one of the seven churches addressed in Revelation, stood as a steadfast Christian community under Roman rule.

Patmos

The island where the apostle John received visions recorded in the Book of Revelation, making it one of the most sacred Christian sites in the Aegean.

Rhodes

An island known in antiquity for its strategic port and the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders. It was also visited by Paul during his missionary travels.
