Tour members meet for our flight to Amman, Jordan. After dinner, relax and enjoy on-board entertainment as we prepare for this exciting adventure.

Upon arrival in Amman, we meet our Jordanian guide who will accompany us throughout our journey. After clearing customs, we journey to the Dead Sea region. Along the way, we stop in Madaba, home to an ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land dating back to the 6th century. This map is a reminder of the rich history of the land we are about to explore. As we ascend Mount Nebo, we find ourselves standing at the place where Moses gazed upon the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 34:1-4). This moment, where Moses looked upon a land he would not enter, symbolizes both faith and promise. We conclude our day at the Dead Sea, where we can relax and float in its healing, salty waters.

This morning, we travel to Petra, the rose-red city of the Nabateans, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. As we walk through the Siq, a narrow gorge, we are led to the stunning Treasury—one of the most iconic images of Petra. This incredible ancient city is a marvel of engineering and beauty. As we explore the Royal Tombs, the Amphitheater, and other monumental sites, we witness the rich history of this place, where trade and culture converged long before the time of Christ. After exploring Petra, we return to the Dead Sea for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we transfer to the Allenby Bridge where after border formalities, we will cross into Israel and begin our visit to the Masada Fortress. We ascend the mountain by cable car, where we stand on the site where the Jewish zealots made their last stand against the Romans (AD 73). Masada represents both a tragic end and a heroic stand, highlighting the resilience of the Jewish people. We continue to Ein Gedi, a desert oasis where David sought refuge from King Saul (1 Samuel 24:1-22). The next stop is Qumran, home to the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, where we learn about the community that preserved these ancient texts. Afterward, we head to the Galilee region for dinner and overnight.

Our journey continues to Megiddo, known for the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16:16), an ancient city with strategic importance. We then visit Nazareth, where Jesus grew up, and explore the Church of the Annunciation (Luke 1:26-38). After lunch, we visit Cana, the site of Jesus’ first miracle (John 2:1-11), where He turned water into wine at a wedding. Time permitting, we visit Beit Shean, a significant archaeological site with Roman ruins that remind us of the Roman presence in Judea. We conclude the day at Yardenit, a baptismal site on the Jordan River, where many pilgrims follow in the footsteps of Jesus (Matthew 3:13-17). Dinner and overnight in the Galilee region.

We start with a beautiful sunrise boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, reflecting on the miracles that Jesus performed here, including walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33). Our next stop is Caesarea Philippi, where Peter made his confession of faith, declaring Jesus to be the Messiah (Matthew 16:13-20). We continue to Tel Dan, where the ancient city gate of Jeroboam is located (1 Kings 12:2533). In the afternoon, we visit Capernaum, where Jesus taught in the synagogue (Mark 1:21-28) and healed Peter’s mother-in-law (Matthew 8:14-17). We also reflect at the Mount of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7). Dinner and overnight in the Galilee area.

We depart the Galilee region and make our way to Mount Carmel, where the prophet Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:20-40). The views from this mount are stunning, and we reflect on the courage of Elijah. We continue to Caesarea Maritima, the Roman port where Peter preached to Cornelius (Acts 10). After exploring this ancient site, we drive to Bethlehem, where we visit the Church of the Nativity, built over the spot where Jesus was born (Luke 2:1-7), and the Shepherds’ Field (Luke 2:8-20). In Bethlehem, we have the opportunity visit a local olivewood shop, where we learn how nativity scenes and other creations are handcrafted by local Christian artisans. We’ll have time to shop and support the local community. We finish the day by heading to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

This morning, we ascend the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem (Luke 21:37-38). We then descend to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed before His arrest (Luke 22:39-46). We continue our journey through the Kidron Valley and visit the Southern Steps—the entrance to the ancient Temple Mount where Jesus likely walked (Luke 2:41-42). Afterward, we explore the Cardo, the main street from the Byzantine era, and visit the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

We begin at the Western Wall, a site of Jewish prayer and reflection, before entering the Rabbi’s Tunnel, a section of the ancient wall that runs underneath the Old City. We then follow the Via Dolorosa, the path Jesus took on His way to the cross (John 19:17), culminating at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Matthew 27:32-61). After lunch, we visit the City of David, the historical heart of Jerusalem, and explore Hezekiah’s Tunnel (2 Kings 20:20), a water tunnel that supplied the city with water. We also reflect at the Pool of Siloam (John 9:1-12), where Jesus healed a blind man. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Today, we visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem, to reflect on the tragedy of the Holocaust. Afterward, if conditions permit, we ascend to the Temple Mount to see the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque. In the afternoon, we visit the Garden Tomb, where we have a private communion service here, reflecting on His sacrifice and resurrection. In the evening, we enjoy a special farewell dinner. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Today we have free time in Jerusalem to relax or shop at our leisure. This afternoon, we depart Jerusalem and travel back to Jordan, crossing the border once more. Upon arrival in Amman, we have dinner and settle in for an overnight stay, reflecting on the experiences and spiritual insights we’ve gained over the past days.

After breakfast, we transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for our flight home. As we board the plane, we take home wonderful memories, renewed faith, and a greater understanding of our Lord’s life.
