We depart the U.S.A for Prague. Today we embark on our journey to Europe!

Arrive in the Czech Republic and head to Prague's Old Town. Visit the Church of Our Lady before Týn, an iconic Gothic church from the Hussite era, and see the Jan Hus Memorial. Enjoy lunch in town, then walk across Charles Bridge, featuring statues of Christian saints like John of Nepomuk. Watch the Prague Astronomical Clock at the Old Town Hall, check into our hotel, and have dinner.

Tour Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, the spiritual heart of the Czech Republic and resting place of notable figures like Wenceslaus I. See the Palace of the Kings of Bohemia and witness the Changing of the Guards. Visit the Sephardic Synagogue and Jewish Museum. Explore Christmas markets in Wenceslaus Square and the Old Town.

Visit Vyšehrad Castle, including the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul and the historic Cemetery. Tour Strahov Monastery with a brewery, visit the interesting Monastery and enjoy beer tasting. Take a short walk to Petrin Tower for city views, then see the Dancing House designed by Frank Gehry.

We leave Prague for Austria and arrive in Vienna, where we'll have lunch at the vibrant Naschmarkt. We'll take a panoramic tour of the Ring, passing by the Opera House, Parliament, and Habsburg palaces. After visiting the City Hall square Christmas market, we board the modern and comfortable MS Viva Enjoy cruise ship.

This morning, our itinerary includes docking in Linz, Austria’s third-largest city, situated along the Danube River between Vienna and Salzburg. Linz is recognized for its elegant baroque city center, vibrant modern art culture, and picturesque riverfront vistas. The city was designated as a European Capital of Culture in 2009. Notable sites include the Linz Cathedral (Mariendom), Austria's largest church, constructed in the 19th century in neo-Gothic style, featuring expansive stained-glass windows and remarkable vaulted ceilings. Hauptplatz (Main Square), one of the country’s largest, is characterized by its colorful historic architecture and inviting cafés and restaurants, serving as the focal point of the old town. Additionally, the bridge spanning the Danube historically served as the boundary between the U.S.-controlled and Soviet-controlled regions of Austria for nearly a decade following World War II.

Passau is a beautiful historic city in Bavaria, Germany, located where three rivers meet: the Danube River, Inn River, and Ilz River. Because of this it is often called the “City of Three Rivers.” The old town sits on a narrow peninsula between the Danube and the Inn and is full of baroque architecture and charming streets. The Peace of Passau was an important agreement signed in 1552 in the city of Passau (in present-day Germany). It played a major role in the religious conflicts of the Protestant Reformation within the Holy Roman Empire. St. Stephen’s Cathedral, The most famous landmark in Passau, home to the largest cathedral organ in the world and Beautiful ceiling frescoes. Three Rivers Confluence, this scenic point shows where the three rivers meet.

Today we will dock in Regensburg, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Germany. Located on the Danube River in the state of Bavaria, its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with more than 1,000 historic buildings. The Stone Bridge, built in the 12th century, it was one of the great engineering achievements of the Middle Ages. For centuries it was the only bridge across the Danube in the region and helped make Regensburg a major trade center. The Old Town Hall, A very important political site, the Imperial Diet of the Holy Roman Empire for many centuries. We will visit Walhalla, famous neoclassical monument in southern Germany that honors important figures in German history and culture. It stands on a hill above the Danube River near the city of Regensburg.

Nuremberg (German: Nürnberg) is a historic city located in Bavaria, southern Germany. Situated along the Pegnitz River, it has played a significant political, cultural, and economic role for centuries. In the Middle Ages, Nuremberg ranked among the most important cities of the Holy Roman Empire; emperors frequently held imperial assemblies there and kept the imperial regalia within its walls. During the Nazi era, the city became tightly linked to the regime, hosting large propaganda rallies at the Nazi Party Rally Grounds under Adolf Hitler. Our visit includes exploring the old town, home to the largest Christmas market in Europe, followed by a tour of Zeppelin Field, site of the Nazi Party parades in the 1930s. We will also learn about the Nuremberg Trials and visit the courthouse where these pivotal events took place in 1946.

We disembark cruise and transfer to Munich Airport for return flight back to U.S.A.
