9-Day Tour of
The Rhine River
with a 7-Night River Cruise

We begin our journey in Zurich, Switzerland, where we’ll explore the city’s charming blend of tradition and modernity. Next, we cruise along the Rhine, visiting historic towns like Basel, Breisach, and Strasbourg, each offering rich cultural experiences, breathtaking architecture, and poignant WWII history. Our adventure concludes in Amsterdam, where we’ll reflect on the past at Anne Frank’s house and soak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere before heading home.

Note: This trip is aimed at ordained clergy and educators looking to return with a group of their own. A second pastor from the same church may travel at the spouse pricing, but only two pastors are allowed per church. Affiliation is required when registering online.

ITINERARY

Today we land in Zurich, Switzerland and enjoy a walking tour of the city. Time feels suspended between tradition and modernism, offering a delightful blend of old-world charm and contemporary vibrancy. Our short visit here will encompass a stroll along the cobblestone streets of the Old Town (Altstadt) where medieval buildings stand proudly alongside boutique shops and cozy cafes. We will follow Ulrich Zwingli’s work in Zurich, foundational in the establishment of Anabaptists in Switzerland. We will enjoy viewing Marc Chagall’s Church windows at the Fraumünster and stroll along the lake promenade. Dinner and overnight are in a hotel in Zurich.
