• Day 01

  Depart for cairo

  This morning, after breakfast, we will transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor and board your Nile Cruise Ship. Lunch will be served on board your vessel. The afternoon brings excursion to the Temples of Karnak and Luxor on the Eastern Bank of the Nile and the Luxor Museum. Dinner and overnight on board.
• Day 02

  Cairo / Luxor

  This morning, after breakfast, we will transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor and board your Nile Cruise Ship. Lunch will be served on board your vessel. The afternoon brings excursion to the Temples of Karnak and Luxor on the Eastern Bank of the Nile and the Luxor Museum. Dinner and overnight on board.
• Day 03

  Luxor / Esna

  We will experience an early morning visit to the West Bank of Thebes, the City of the Dead. Tour the Valley of the Kings (including the tomb of Tutankhamun), the valley of the Queens, Queen Hatshepsut’s temple at Deir El Bahri, Medinet Habu and the colossi of Memnon. Afternoon sail to Esna. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Day 04

  Esna / Edfu / Kom ombo

  Step off your Nile cruise ship to visit the Greco-Roman temples of Khnum at Esna and the falcon god Horus at Edfu. In the evening, dock at Kom Ombo. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Day 05

  Kom ombo / Aswan

  Morning visit to the double temple of Kom Ombo, followed by a sail to Aswan, the southern border of ancient Egypt. Enjoy a late afternoon sail on a graceful felucca boat around Elephantine Island, disembarking to visit the Botanical Gardens and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Day 06

  Aswan / Cairo

  After breakfast, disembark your Nile cruise ship and visit the Museum on Elephantine Island and view the ongoing archaeological excavations. We will visit stone quarries and the "Unfinished Obelisk" at Aswan. Learn how it was possible to cut a single piece of rock to create a massive pillar. You will also see the temple of Isis at Philae and the Old and New Aswan Dams. Evening transfer to Aswan Airport for our flight to Cairo. Dinner on your own and overnight in Cairo.
• Day 07

  Cairo / Great pyramids & sphinx / Felluca boat ride

  Sightseeing tour of the Necropolis of Sakkara containing the funerary monuments from various periods of Egyptian history. View the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. See several mastabas (tombs of nobles), included are the tombs of Ti and Ptah which are among the finest ever excavated. There will be sufficient time for a visit to the fantastic Egyptian Museum containing the treasures of King Tutankhamen. Our sightseeing excursion will include the Citadel and the Mohammed Ali Mosque, offering a beautiful view of Cairo and the Nile, the historical dwellings and mosques. Dinner on your own and overnight in Cairo.
• Day 08

  Cairo / Great pyramids & sphinx / Felluca boat ride

  Today’s sightseeing will include a tour of the great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Then we will continue to the Jolie Ville Pyramids area for lunch. After lunch we will visit the famous silk rug carpet-making factory. Late afternoon we enjoy a relaxing 30/45 minute felucca boat ride on the Nile River. Farewell dinner and overnight in Cairo.
• Day 09

  Cairo / U.S.A.

  Morning transfer to Cairo Airport for your return flight homeward. Arrive U.S.A. same day.
